Beverly Molano & Rene Sanchez, Jr.
Married October 26, 2019
It was a lovely and fresh morning for Beverly and Rene, who each woke on that October 26th day with excitement in their hearts…it was their wedding day! Rene was joined by his groomsmen as he began his early preparations for the ceremony, dressing in a suave burgundy tuxedo with black details. A sentimental and beautiful final touch, gifted by his bride-to-be, was added to Rene’s boutonniere – a small pendant with his father’s picture, the perfect way to honor his memory and have him at their memory. Matching pendants were also gifted to his mother, sister, and his two brothers who served as his best men. Meanwhile, Beverly was being lashed up and pampered into a bride, the epitome of grace and elegance. Wispy curls, a waltz-length veil, “something borrowed” wedding jewelry from her mother, and a mermaid gown of lace and beading that seemed to float on air created Beverly’s bridal look.
Finally, the time came for the Catholic ceremony which would unite the couple in matrimony before their friends and family. With his groomsmen by his side, Rene waited with anticipation as the bridesmaids in rose quartz and maids of honor in burgundy walked down the aisle, until finally Pachebel’s “Canon in D Major” began to fill the chapel. Beverly was escorted to the altar by her parents with a bright smile on her face. She joined her soon-to-be husband and they took the matrimonial steps with a traditional Catholic mass, and Filipino traditions with a special unity veil brought from the Philippines by the bride’s aunt.
At the end of the ceremony, Beverly and Rene were pronounced husband and wife and they ventured out of the church for family photos, then the couple was whisked off to a quaint site for their own bride and groom portraits. Guests, meanwhile, were enjoying cocktail hour before the bride and groom arrived for their wedding feast of savory grilled chicken and shrimp with green cream sauce.
As they enjoyed their meal, Beverly and Rene admired their stunning and romantic wedding reception, with explosions of fresh peonies and roses everywhere, gorgeous draping, softly glowing chandeliers, and details of burgundy and dusty rose completing the overall romantic ambiance they dreamed of. Once every plate was cleared, the bridal party and immediate family members took their turns to take their place around the dance floor during the formal presentation, all leading up to Beverly and Rene taking center stage for their first dance as a married couple, dancing in the clouds to Sheffield’s “Forever From Now”. Beverly then took her turn with her father for a special dance to “I Loved Her First” by Heartland, followed by a lovely dance to Michael Buble’s “Forever Always” between Rene and his mother who was happy to be strong enough to dance with her son. More dancing followed with guests filling the dance floor, the photo booth with a line of partygoers, and balloons thrown about as Rene busted out The Worm, a dance Beverly had witnessed when they first met!
In between songs the newlyweds cut into their scrumptious confections, a five-tier white almond cake with raspberry and Bavarian cream filling nestled atop a cascading fountain of fresh flowers, and the groom’s chocolate drum cake, a nod to Rene’s musical talents. It wasn’t long before the musician in Rene came out and surprised his bride by serenading her with Billy Currington’s “Must Be Doin’ Somethin’ Right”. All too soon the night came to an end and guests, including close friends of the bride and groom who arrived after work to see them off, created a sparkling archway for Beverly and Rene to make their final run through on their wedding day. While Mr. and Mrs. Sanchez went on a mini honeymoon to Las Vegas, where they could visit Paris and Rome all on one strip, they are happy to soon celebrate their newly married status on their dream vacation in Greece. The perfect end to a perfect beginning…
