Daisy Trevino & Eladio De La Cruz
Married December 28, 2019
Blue skies, sunshine, and a slight chill to the air set the perfect day for Daisy and Eladio’s wedding day on December 28, 2019. The bride was filled with excitement as she was glammed up, looking radiant in a flowing mermaid gown with delicate lace details and off the shoulder sleeves. Looking just as picture perfect, the groom arrived at the San Juan Diego church in Mission dressed handsomely in a navy blue suit. He stood at the altar, waiting along with their families and friends as nieces and nephews walked down the aisle, making way for Daisy to be escorted by her loving father. The church choir sang as Daisy and Eladio became husband and wife through a traditional Catholic mass. After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests headed to their picturesque venue where they arrived to a second ceremony! This time, the altar was outdoors, and Daisy and Eladio’s dogs, golden retriever Hayley and Siberian husky Sophie, participated as the flower girls wearing flower collars. After the second ceremony, everyone headed to the ballroom reception, beautifully decorated to be a perfect winter celebration. Guests stayed warm and cozy with embroidered blankets as they enjoyed the delicious meal of chipotle chicken, asparagus, and pasta before the parents of the bride and groom, and Mr. and Mrs. De La Cruz walked out to a formal presentation. Daisy and Eladio shared their first dance to Cody Johnson’s “With You I Am”, followed by Daisy sharing a dance with her father to “I Loved Her First” by Heartland, and Eladio with his mom to “Carino Sin Condicion” by Carlos y Juan. Soon everyone was on the dance floor enjoying the music, catching the bouquet and garter, and enjoying slices of the vanilla pecan and strawberry wedding cake. The night ended too quickly, but guests sent off the newlyweds with dazzling sparklers and left the reception with great memories and dog treat favors for their fur babies.
