Our wedding day began with our closest family and friends gathered at Sacred Heart Catholic Church for our holy sacrament of matrimony. Jacob and I exchanged traditional vows and said “I Do,” and members from each of our family were happy to participate in the ceremony. I had never felt so certain of anything in my entire life.
Following the ceremony, our guests enjoyed signature cocktails and hors d’oeuvres before following spirited mariachis in to the reception with the new Mr. and Mrs. Nieto. After a scrumptious dinner spread, five beautiful layers of a buttercream wedding confection and the groom’s chocolate Fightin’ Texas Aggies-themed cake were perfectly paired with traditional Mexican churros. Music filled the ballroom as we shared our first dance as husband and wife. We were then joined by our guests and danced the night away, exiting among a procession of our loved ones with a sparkler send-off.
Jacob and I will forever feel extremely blessed and in-debt to our families for their continuous love and support.
