He has entertained audiences all his life as a teacher, musician, and DJ. The Texas native grew up in the Rio Grande Valley where he was in the education field for more than 33 years as a 3D Animation Instructor. He was a DJ/teacher for local radio stations on a part-time basis and has been a radio DJ since he was 17 years old. Upon retiring from teaching in 2010, he created his own professional DJ business, J and Z Entertainment. He is well-recognized for his unique performing style.
