Madison and Stephen envisioned their wedding as intimate, heartfelt, and deeply meaningful, a celebration centered on love, connection, and the people who mattered most. While the event was beautifully orchestrated and rich in detail, it remained grounded in authenticity and emotion.
The festivities began with a welcome party the evening before the wedding at Villa Mia, a joyful celebration to welcome family and friends who traveled from all over to celebrate the couple. Guests wore all white, complementing the tropical and festive atmosphere, while Madison and Stephen stood out in coordinating navy blue attire, a stylish nod to the ocean beside them.
The evening was filled with warm breezes, laughter, and the delicious aroma of a traditional Mexican dinner, beautifully styled with colorful Talavera accents. With the ocean as their backdrop and margaritas in hand, it was the perfect way to begin a weekend of unforgettable memories.
The next day, the sunlit shores of Puerto Vallarta set the scene for their wedding, the very place where, years before, they had sat side by side watching the waves and dreaming of their future. “One day, let’s get married here,” they had said. And now, that dream had come true. With golden light spilling across the sand and the ocean humming behind them, the atmosphere was everything they had hoped for, relaxed, sincere, and overflowing with love.
The morning of the wedding was filled with quiet excitement and anticipation. Madison spent the early hours surrounded by her closest friends and family, slipping into a gown that was uniquely her, a stunning floral printed dress she had found during a special shopping trip in Dallas with her mom and best friends. She hadn’t known what she was looking for until she saw it, and when she tried it on, everything clicked.
Just before the ceremony, Madison and Stephen shared a powerful first touch. Having spent the day apart, emotions swelled as Madison walked up behind Stephen, who faced the ocean. A talented team of vendors brought it all to life with care, creativity, and intention, allowing Madison and Stephen to fully embrace each moment.
The florals were a true highlight, vibrant yet refined, bringing color, texture, and harmony to every space. The reception was held under a canopy of stars, where handmade glass place cards, thoughtful tablescapes, and candlelight added warmth and charm. But the true centerpiece of the evening was the dance floor. With the ocean breeze in the air and their favorite songs filling the night, the celebration came alive with joy, laughter, and boundless energy.
As the new Mr. and Mrs. Peña, Madison and Stephen look forward to this next chapter with the same love and intention they poured into their wedding. The weekend was just the beginning.
