We met in college attending Texas A&M University. It was our senior year and just when both of us had different plans we met through a mutual friend – one who Bobbie had known since high school and Jheri had just met in college. She played cupid between the two and eventually Jheri asked Bobbie for her number and on a date. Our first date was dinner at Blackwater Draw and dessert at Spoons. Little did we know that both of us were from the RGV and grew up just down the road from one another but did not find each other until the age of 22. We spent a year together at A&M doing everything together, studying at MedSci library, eating our weight in Gumby’s pizza rolls, until we had to do long distance for 3 years while Jheri was in Chiropractor school. After Jheri graduated we moved back home to the RGV to be closer to our families and after 7 years together we got engaged!
