The Valley Wedding Pages is seeking a Sales & Marketing Associate to support the growth of our print and digital publications while helping promote one of the Valley’s leading wedding and event media brands.

This role blends sales, marketing, and brand representation, making it ideal for someone who enjoys client-facing work, strategic thinking, and being active in the community.

About the Role

As a Sales & Marketing Associate, you will sell advertising space in our magazines, promote our digital products, and help strengthen our brand presence through marketing initiatives and events. You will work directly with business owners, develop customized proposals, and collaborate closely with the editorial and marketing teams.

You will also represent The Valley Wedding Pages at industry events, networking mixers, and grand openings.

What We’re Looking For:

Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, creative, and understands both the sales process and basic marketing strategies. You are comfortable working independently, meeting goals, and building long-term client relationships.

  1. High School Diploma or higher
  2. Previous sales and/or marketing experience preferred
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Highly organized with the ability to manage time-sensitive tasks
  6. Ability to work well with minimal supervision
  7. Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  8. Availability to attend Valley Wedding Pages events

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create and present customized advertising and marketing proposals
  2. Lead client meetings and sales presentations
  3. Visit current and prospective clients
  4. Promote print and digital advertising opportunities
  5. Assist with marketing efforts, promotions, and brand visibility
  6. Attend industry events, grand openings, networking events, and chamber events

Travel Expectations:

Sales Associate will travel about 80% of the time to meet with clients and attend events.

Pay Rate

Option 1 – Remote Contract Sales Associate – Full Time

  • 4-day paid sales training at $8.50/hr
  • 15% commission plus a monthly stipend when goals are met
  • Paid bi-weekly
  • Pay increases and stipend begin after meeting monthly goals for 3 consecutive months

Option 2 – Sales & Marketing Associate – Full Time & Part Time Available

  • Office hours as a clerical employee (part-time):
    9:00 AM – 1:00 PM, 2–3 days per week
  • Sales role (commission-based part-time) with flexible scheduling
  • 4-day paid sales training at $8.50/hr
  • Starting pay: $9/hr + 10% commission
  • Monthly stipend when goals are met
  • Bi-weekly pay for office hours; commission paid monthly
  • After meeting goals for 3 consecutive months: Commission increases up to 15%; Monthly stipend of $200 each time goals are met
