Aimee and Erick first met in 6th grade at Longoria Middle School where they both attended. Although they were not close in middle school, they knew of each other but ultimately they were separated into different high schools. After many years without seeing each other after being separated into different high schools, with the COVID-19 pandemic, they met each other again and quickly became friends. They began to get closer and closer and found themselves falling for each other. After 1 year of being best friends they fell in love and have since been together for 3 years. Erick proposed to Aimee at her college graduation party surrounded by her family and loved ones.
