"It all started in 2014 when I worked at Kohl's. After a late shift, my coworker Kendra invited me to a party. There, I met new people, including a cute guy in western wear and a cowboy hat. We played beer pong, and it turned out he was my match—competitive and playful, though a bit annoying with his trash talk. The next morning, he messaged me on Facebook, apologizing for being so bothersome due to the drinking. I accepted his apology and later went on a few dates with him and the rest is history. Nine years later, we built and established our little home. We had our housewarming party on April 29, 2023. After arriving about 1 hour late at my housewarming party due to getting my nails done, I got there and began greeting the guests. I saw Oscar with roses and a big smile on his face. He begins telling me how much he loves me and everything we've been through. He tells me to turn around and there's a big sign asking, "Will you marry me?” I turned back to him, and he was kneeling there with a Neil Lane diamond ring asking me to marry him."
