"After our ceremony, we'd originally planned to have our photos taken during cocktail hour. Being in Texas in the middle of summer, our photographer knew we would not last long out in the sun; so he suggested we take photos later, at sunset. We chose to sit and wait in the car, blasting the AC, talking about our day leading up to the ceremony. It was really nice as newlyweds to be alone together and have a moment to rest before joining our friends and family at the venue."
