Brookhaven Event Center is a family-owned venue inspired by Southern roots that trace back to Brookhaven, Mississippi. The idea for the event center originated when another family business was mistakenly identified as a "dance hall." This misunderstanding sparked the vision for a hill country-style, indoor/outdoor event space in the heart of the Rio Grande Valley.
Brookhaven Event Center is an almost all-inclusive event space, allowing clients to customize every detail of their special day. The venue features an on-site ceremony area, an outdoor covered porch for cocktail hour, picturesque landscaping, a glamorous bridal suite, modern rustic groom’s quarters, and a designated food truck area. With a capacity for 350 guests, Brookhaven provides tables, chairs, linens, and catering services, while also permitting clients to bring in their own decor, music, desserts, and specialty vendors.
Upon entering through the barn wood doors, guests are transported to a space that beautifully blends hill country comfort with timeless elegance. One of the venue’s standout features is its picturesque landscape, complete with a functioning water wheel—a creative and ambitious project that the team proudly accomplished.
