Julianna Villa’s passion for making cakes and desserts turned into her home sweets shop in Edinburg, Texas. Having baked since childhood, her love of creating confections grew as she baked for friends and family. After a few years, Julianna perused her passion professionally and The Heart Baker was born.
Julianna works with clients to create custom desserts for a variety of events whether it’s a large wedding, intimate shower, or at home celebration. Her cakes not only taste delicious but are true works of art. She strives to make her mark in the dessert industry through her modern and contemporary creations. Her signature buttercream designs include an abstract palette knife and watercolor texture. Julianna looks at oil and watercolor paintings to draw inspiration. As an artist chooses their artistic medium to specialize in, Juliana chooses to work with solely buttercream to decorate desserts with innovative designs.
