The Livery Venue, owned by Raquel Varela, Cecilia De La Garza, and Alma De La Garza, was born from a personal experience that sparked a professional passion. When one of the daughters got engaged, the family began their search for the perfect venue in Brownsville. During this search, they stumbled upon a beautiful historic building that immediately captured their hearts. Recognizing its incredible potential, they envisioned a space where couples and families could come together to celebrate their most important milestones. Driven by the desire to create a place for others to experience the same joy and magic, they decided to turn this remarkable building into The Livery Venue—a place where dream events come to life.

Originally built in 1909 as a livery stable, The Livery Venue has been beautifully restored to blend historic charm with modern elegance. Recently remodeled, it now accommodates up to 500 guests in the heart of downtown Brownsville. The venue offers tables, linens, wooden Tiffany chairs, an adjustable dance floor, and state-of-the-art sound, ensuring a seamless experience for any celebration.
