moment! Cheat Mr. Murphy by being prepared with an emergency kit containing everything you
could possibly need to fix last-minute glitches. Assemble this emergency kit several days or
even weeks in advance of the big day. As time nears, you may think of other items to add to your
bag of tricks.
- Your cell phone (set on silent, of course)
- Phone list of all wedding party members
- Phone list of all vendor contacts
- Small brush or comb
- Hairspray
- Bobby pins, barrettes, ponytail holders
- Small mirror
- Curling iron and hair dryer
- Deodorant, perfume, and body powder
- Extra makeup items (for touch-ups)
- Nail file and trimmer
- Extra pairs of pantyhose (for you or attendants)
- Nail polish in your color
- Clear nail polish (to stop stocking runs)
- Krazy Glue (to mend broken heel or fingernail)
- White masking tape (quick fix for hemlines)
- Small sewing kit with matching thread, extra buttons, and scissors
- Small plastic zipper bags
- Safety pins
- Anti-static cling spray
- White chalk or Ivory soap
- (to cover unexpected dress stains)
- Tissues, wet wipes, and cotton swabs
- Sanitary products
- Dental floss
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Aspirin or ibuprofen Clear Band-aids
- Bottled water
- Extra earring backs
- Contact lens supplies
- Personal medications or inhalers
- Mini-pretzels or granola bars
- Breath mints
- Rolaids
